Sometimes things are just as good at one hoped for. Yesterday was the first day of my Yukimura Seminar. 6 hours of intense basic to build upon for the next 3 days.. some ties were wellknown,  but they were used differently, the focus was different, the way they were tied, the energy focus was turned upside down, and the added elements just made a lot more sense…  An outstanding  beginning  of a new journey, we are looking forward to the next day..

Day 2 of the Yukimura seminar startet where we left.. Building upon basic’s, going deeper into manipulation, and learning a lot of small things, making the picture clearer. I may not learn a lot of techniques, but I do get a much deeper understanding what Yukimura’s is about.  This might be basic, but there are a lot to learn, and its not the technical parts. Understanding is tough, and reactions are to be learned, and explored. Its something between rope, being a old pervert, and just having sex.. No dry pants, garanteed..

The Teaching,  if one can call it teaching, live studies is more what we get, and give back. Yukinaga Max and his Wife does indeed give themselves 100%.. this is real dedication at its best. This superseeds any teaching, I ever have had.

Afterthought’s are that someone will believe that they master these techniques after a few days, and start learning them to others.. We all know what happens, the first thing, that is lost is the most essentials, and in no time, the knowledge is lost, and the few remembered pieces will be spread without the whole picture. I wish that everyone remember to master this, and don’t end up as a Jack of all trades..  Be careful with your knowledge, and enjoy what you learn..

Day 3 out of 4. Absolutely another progression in understanding what this is about.  Basically, its about men and women, but there are so much more in this. Understanding the philosophy behind his mind, thats a lifelong journey, but more  and more pieces in the puzzle fits in its own place.  There are a lot of complexty  in this, dispite that its pretty simple  ties, but put together, and with the right mindset, it starts to open doors.. This is defently where my path will lead me in the future..

Last day of this introduction to Yukimura ryu, I will miss it as hell. We have been some fantastic people together,  making these saturdays to something extraordinary.   The last 3 days have focused on emotions, being together, and opening up for some really lovely things. Yesterday brought some technical issues, and basic training as a start. Putting  perfection into something as imperfect as emotions is.. a real challenge to me, but it did work. Some more poses, ending the day with a challenge, my mind was pretty blown away.

My writings regarding the seminar might be boring, might not be what everyone else is writing about, its not about “see me”, its about being together, being in the moment, and working as a couple. I couldn’t have done this without the lovely partner,  I have  shared these moments with, a big thank you goes to her. This wouldn’t have happend if Max and Tina haven’t been so dedicated as they are, truly an amazing couple. If you wants to learn something about  rope,  go visit their Dojo, its outstanding.
